Getting to Aarhus and the Kaløvig Sailing Center
Plane
Arriving at Copenhagen airport you have the choice of transferring to Aarhus Airport or Billund Airport. Billund and Aarhus Airport are running a shuttle bus service directly to Aarhus.

Train
Denmark has an efficient train network with a direct service to the centre of Århus from Copenhagen Airport. Travel time is 3.0 – 3.5 hours between Århus and Copenhagen Airport. There are 1-2 train departures every hour. For further information see www.dsb.dk
Car
Denmark has an efficient road network allowing easy driving access to the city of Aarhus. From Hamburg in Germany it is only a 3-hour drive and Danish and German motorways are toll free. The highhway marked with yellow lines on the map above, passing through Aarhus, is the E45. It takes you almost directly to Kaløvig Sailing Centre, where the Highway Exit is only 3 km from the venue. Go to the page “venue” to find direction and adress to the Kaløvig Sailing Centre.

Camping
During the event it will be possible to camp in your own tent or camper at the Kaløvig Sailing Centre for free; you will only be charged for your electricity consumption. The camping site has a fabulous sea view and is locate directly in connection to the Sailing Centre meaning you will be only a few meters away from your boat. Space however is limited and will be allocated at a “first come first served principle”.
Bed & Breakfast and Hostels
You might also find adequate accommodation with some of the private families offering Bed and Breakfast or one of the hostels in Aarhus. Please go to the local tourist organizations at Visit Aarhus to search for the possibilities.
