Thomas Capitani, Excecutive Director Sailing Aarhus
Thomas is the excecutive director of Sailing Aarhus. Thomas has been an active sailor since his early teens with competitive experience mainly in multihulls like the Hobie 16, Hobie Tiger and Dart 18 where he won several international regattas and Danish championships. Today, he mainly races keel boats as well as he is enjoying cruising in his X-99. Thomas holds a business diploma and speaks Danish, German, English and Italian.

Peter Kærgård Jensen, Event Manager Sailing Aarhus
Peter is event manager at Sailing Aarhus and is primarily with the 505 SAP World Championship. Peter holds a M.Sc in international business and is a keen mountain biker. Among other tasks at the 505 Worlds, Peter is press office manager.

Christina Laub Frank, Event Manager Sailing Aarhus
Together with Regatta Office Manager Jette Hvid, Christina will run the registrations process at the start of the event.
Niels Frølund, Vicepresident Sailing Aarhus
Niels is the chair of the Kaløvig Sailing Club regatta departement and is also responsible for logistics and site services at the 505 SAP World Championship
Jette Hvid, Volunteer Ressource and Regatta Office Manager, Kaløvig Sailing Centre
Jette has spent a great deal of her spare time working in Race Management teams at several big events during the past 15 years for the sailing club Kaløvig ådelaug. She was the event director among others in Laser Europe Cup from 1998-2000. Jette has also done a little of sailing herself in keelboats. She has studied Spanish mercantile language at the Aarhus School of Business, and is now working as an assistant in the department of public procurement in the Region Midtjylland. Jette is 43 years old and lives in the countryside with her boyfriend, her dog and her cat. Jette is a board member of the Kaløvig Sailing Club regatta departement.

Tom Bojland, Danish 505 Class representativ
Tom was president for the International 505 class Yacht Racing Association in 2002 to 2006 and national secretary for the danish 505 class in 1996-2001. Tom has raced 505′s for more than 20 years and lives in Copenhagen with his wife and 2 daughters.
Race Management
Thomas Jørgensen, DEN, Principal Race Officer
Thomas will be the Principal Race Officer of the 2010 505 SAP World Championship. He is a member of ISAF Race Management Sub-Committee and chairman for the Danish Sailing Association’s Race Officials Committee. He is an IRO since 2003. He has race officer experience with ISAF Youth World Sailing Championship 2007 in Canada as well as in 2008 in Denmark. He was appointed by ISAF at the 2008 Olympic Sailing Competition in China. He has been running many races for the 505 class latest at the European championship in 2006.
Keith Harris, GBR, Assisting Race Officer
Keith Harris is a member of Chew Valley Lake SC in the west country of England where he races his Flying Fifteen.
As a national race officer Keith has been race officer for several inland championships and has been involved at many events at Weymouth, the next olympic venue, and Plymouth. These events include being deputy race officer for the Moth worlds, the Techno windsurfing worlds, J80 and J24 nationals.
Steen Hansen, DEN, Regatta and Results Office Manager
Steen has been a member of several race management groups at international regattas, normally in the position of Race Office and Results manager. He is an expert Sail Wave user and a member of the Kaløvig Sailing Club. Steen is studying to be a teacher in mathematics and gymnastics and is also a National Judge.
International JuryBill has been IJ since1996 and IRO since 1997 and currently a member of the ISAF Judges Sub Committee.
He have been sailing for over fifty years mainly in OK dinghies and Finns but also some ocean racing including one and a half Sydney to Hobart races. This will be the third 505 World Championship where Bill is a member of the International Jury.

Ulrich Finckh, GER, Jury Member
Uli Finckh is a member of Münchner Yacht Club and Herrschinger Segel Club in Germany.
Uli has been involved in sailing for 40 years in Korsar, FD, Dyas, Tornado, H-Boat and Dragon on National and European level. He is an ISAF International Judge and a member of the ISAF Racing-Rules Committee and Team Race Subcommittee.
Jack Edwards, GBR, Jury Member
Jack Edwards was introduced to 5o5 in 1976 and competed in his first Worlds at Durban in 1979. Later he was President of GBR Class Association and joined International Rules Committee. Jack Edwards was chaired in the International Rules Committee until 1994. He has competed in Worlds at San Francisco, Gromitz, Felixstowe Ferry, La Rochelle and Sydney. He was jury at 5o5 Worlds at Hayling Island in 2006 and Europeans at Abersoch.
Torben Precht Jensen, DEN, Jury Member
Torben is a member of Århus Sailing Club and he has been sailing for about 40 years and is still active on national level in his Danish Luffe 37 keelboat. Torben has been judging for the last 30 years and have been International Judge since 2002 and International Umpire since 2008. He is member of the Danish Rule and Appeal Committee. He was also a member of the International Jury for the 505 European Championships in 2006.
Erich Gerhart Michel, AUT, Jury Member
Erich started sailing in a Korsar and later he was crew on a Soling and now the owner of an Elan 19. Erich is currently the vice president for the Austrian Sailing Federation and has been an ISAF International Judge for 8 years. He is looking forward to visit Aarhus in the summer.
Jens Villumsen, DEN, Jury Secretary
Jens has a long history and experience in organizing regattas and is employed at the Kaløvig Sailing Club as a club secretary. He is member of the Danish Sailing Association’s race management committee and is an International Judge since 1997.
